Tracy Chen is just trying to live a sincere life, then the music, poetry, drawing, laughing, despairing… (they’re all kind of the same) is a natural extension of that. Fumbling towards something larger, I don’t necessarily know, I don’t have to, I just believe in it.
Creatively she is interested in process over resolve, collaborative/multimedia projects, irregularity, community-engaged and therapeutic arts. Taking health, experience, the felt response seriously and in earnest at the basis of everything else, etc.
She has a background in community health services, trauma-informed practice, volunteers with the local garden and teaches piano informally.
